Raven Hall Hotel, now known as Grand Villa Heights, was originally built by Captain William Childs of London in 1763. It is halfway between Whitby and Scarborough, in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. It is perched 600 feet above sea level, which gives you an excellent view of Robin Hood’s Bay. There’s a beautiful lawned area, and a rustic hall which can cater for up to 100 people, making it a great wedding venue choice for both indoor and outdoor weddings. There are also secluded gardens and, castle like walls at the cliff edge overlooking the sea, which makes for some beautiful couple photos and group photos alike.
